About Me

As an architect who designs things from the ground up, Roger Day has an eye for detail. But he also has an eye for the potential of existing buildings, even ones in need of repair, refurbishing and outright rehabilitation.

The Denver Post

Roger_J_DayThe path to a goal begins with movement. Movement seems a balance of the pitch of the path and the speed of the traverse.  It has been important for me to understand the pitches to determine the path to be taken. There cannot be a consensus, there can not be a committee to decide the path of movement; only the laws of physics and balance and survival.

I have learned of balance and movement from thousands on days on wintry hillsides never twice seeing the same path, only the same goal.

Hi, I’m Roger Day.  I’m an architect located in the Baker Neighborhood but my work takes me across the city and mountain range in search of fun new projects. My experience ranges from, Sustainable Architecture, Residential and Commercial design, LEED AP and Green Build.

My Former Office

I look to the west....

…my former winter “office”…

There’s a feeling I get
When I look to the west
And my spirit is crying
For leaving…
In my thoughts I have seen
Rings of smoke through the trees
And the voices of those
Who stand looking…

Ooh, it makes me wonder
Ooh, it really makes me wonder …..
